Akşehir Özel Umut Evim Bakım Merkezi

This building is the largest care center in Turkey, serving 300 disabled citizens and providing employment for approximately 200 people. In our building, there are application gardens, animal shelters, a physiotherapy area, and football-volleyball fields for each disability group. The building we have created with the warmth of home and the comfort of a hotel will set a precedent in the field of disability and bring praise to our district in Turkey.

The Special Umut Evim Care Center commits to establishing a Quality Management System structured in accordance with the TS EN ISO 9001:2015 standard to transform the care center into an institutional and continuously improving structure. Our main goal is to provide disabled individuals with fast, comprehensive, friendly, efficient, and quality service in a structure that is constantly learning, evolving, and improving, with the basic principles of accuracy and impartiality. While achieving this main goal on the Total Quality journey, our aim is to provide our members with the best possible service under unity of purpose with knowledgeable, high-quality, qualified, motivated, and continuously trained workforce.

• Sheets, bed linen, and personal clothes are changed and washed daily and then ironed and placed in the individual wardrobes of the disabled.

• In the Special Umut Care and Rehabilitation Center, child development specialists are available to serve only disabled individuals aged between 0-18 years, and physiotherapists are available to serve physically disabled individuals.
• In the Special Umut Care and Rehabilitation Center, the size of the rooms is planned as at least 9 square meters for a single room, 16 square meters for a double room, 22 square meters for a triple room, and 26 square meters for a quadruple room, excluding the bathroom and toilet inside the room, for physically, mentally, or emotionally disabled individuals.
• In the Special Umut Care and Rehabilitation Center, each disabled individual's room includes a cot, wardrobe, shelf, chair, or armchair. A table is provided for the use of the disabled staying in the room.

Social and Psychological Support Services
The Umut Evim Care Center sees the elderly, disabled, and their families as a whole from the admission stage onwards and implements social and psychological, individual and group work aimed at identified needs of both the elderly and the disabled and their families. Workshop activities, sports activities, entertainment, and celebrations ensure the social integration of our disabled and elderly individuals.
